Teaching His Little Sis

 The other night after baths Grady and Lainey were sitting on the family room floor and Grady was teaching Lainey about some common household items. "Yanie, yat's a firepwace, Yanie,  yat's a couch, Yanie, yat's the pwayroom in there, Yanie, yat's a TV." 

Just recently, he realized he has a little sister and has started interacting with her both kindly as well as evilly. (is that a word?) I think he notices her because she is on the move and wants everything that is his, mostly his screwdrivers. One second he is giving her a kiss and patting her head, and the next he is running her over with his John Deere Gator or his lawnmower.

This pretty much sums it up. Is is love or is he trying to strangle her. I really can't ever tell. Hehe!!

 

Happy 8 months Lainey Bug. You are inch worming like crazy these days. Loving puffs, baby food, and bananas. Have had a cold for a month or longer. Still have no teeth. Are very interested in your brother and anything he has. Giggle when Ollie comes by you. Love to snuggle in the middle of the night after eating. Are getting more and more of your little personality everyday. Love it.

Child Dedication

 In April, we dedicated Grady and Laine at church. It was a very special day filled with family and the other 100's of babies dedicated that day too. Grandma and Grandpa, Mimi and Papa, and Aunt Ashley and Isla were all there.

 For the service lasting an hour, all these babies did a great job!

Grady praying. About the cutest thing in the world is when he prays at night. He thanks God for his house and his cars. His tools and his mom and dad. Then he lists everyone he knows. Usually Uncle Brandon is at the top of the list!
