Grandma got to hold Ava a lot and she fell asleep in her arms more than once. Grandma loved it. So did Ava.
The 4 wheeler was well loved while we were there. Grady was in Heaven!
One day we tried to go to Worlds of Fun, but it was just too rainy, so we headed to Crown Center.
The Westin waterfall. The same hotel Grandma and Grandpa went on their honeymoon almost 40 years ago.
We even went to Kaleidoscope, a kids area in Hallmark, that was there even when I was a kid. Mom still has a rocking horse Christmas ornament I made with melted crayons circa 1985. It was still as cool as I remembered it.
We ate lunch at Fritz's. Our burgers were delivered on a train. It was very cool!

We went to Worlds of Fun and Planet Snoopy one of our days. Grady went last year and this year Laine got to go (Grandpa came too!)
Grady is still obsessed with dinos and there is a whole part of Worlds of Fun that has a path full of real looking dinosaurs. It was the best part of his day he said.
Because of the rainy weather while we were there, we ended up having to go to the Royals game the same day as Worlds of Fun. That's a lot for a 4 year old and 2 year old.... but they did great. (Until the end of the Royals game and the ride back to the farm:))
Look at that sweat glistening off his leg. It was HOT, but nothing a sucker and popcorn can't fix.
What a fun trip. We know Grandma Helen loved seeing the kids, and we loved seeing her.
