This little boy has been dying for the first snow. He was out there in the below zero wind chill for way too long. He found icicles and collected them in a bucket and just wandered around soaking in the chill in the air. It was pretty cute.
Dad and Grady didn't have school on Veteran's Day (I did, grrr) and it was cold and snowy. They had a big time shoveling and playing outside.
Don't be alarmed. Laine is wearing an 18-24 month snowsuit. Yes, we have a 3T, but she really likes this one and is pretty sure it looks great on her.
In other news. These two are into their super hero capes they got last Christmas. It only took a year. They sprint all over the house and yell, da da da daaaa.... Super Lainey saves the day!!! Usually followed by a dive onto the ottoman or couch. Oh, and they wear their shoes so they can run super fast at all times.
Usually these Super Heros are naked under their capes. Totally normal.
The future Super Hero is on the far left. She needs a cape. And to be trained in the art of being naked at all times when rescuing and saving the helpless.
Don't think the video works, but they have had more fun sliding down the stairs in the sleeping bag than doing anything else, ever. It has been hours of fun. So far no serious injuries have occurred. Ha!
This is her 7 month photo, but she is now 8 months.
She is getting so big.
Just more evidence of the nakedness.
Last week we could stay and watch Laine's little dance class. It was hilarious. About ten 3 and 4 year olds and about 25 moms, dads and grandparents. If I collected a tally of whose name was uttered most by the teacher, Lainey would have won by a landslide. She was making silly faces in the mirror, standing when she was supposed to be dancing, and turned around backwards quite often. I'm not writing off dance just yet, but let's be honest, she's the youngest in the class. But if we go strictly from the genes she has been given, odds are she will not ever be a ballerina.
Either way, it's pretty cute to watch and she LOVES it.
