Early Morning Fun

When you hear about a Balloon Launch at 6:00 a.m. and your kids like to rise before that time, you make a plan for a fun Saturday morning. We pulled out of the driveway and Kris said, "So, we're going ballooning. Really?" To which I said, "Do not make fun of it, the kids will love it." To which he said, "True. I would make fun of us, if we were going without kids."
Well, he was in shock when we pulled in and there were TONS of people already there. He admitted he thought there would be ten people in the parking lot. Seriously. No faith in my fun and exciting Saturday plans for the fam. The kids (mostly Grady) loved it. He was into all the colors and them launching. Laine, the one who likes to sleep, was slightly annoyed the whole time, and wanted to be wrapped in a blanket and hand fed Ritz Crackers. Ava, was content with her second bottle of the morning at 6:33 a.m and relaxing in the stroller, unaware of the beautiful balloons floating overhead.
Here are a few pics to prove we were there.

The best pic of the whole morning. Ava clearly hates hot air balloons. Clearly.

My Babies

Saw this on Instagram, and had to save it in my phone.
Couldn't be more true.
And on the hard days, I just need to remind myself of this.
How grateful I am for these three sweet babies that we get to raise and love every day.

This boy who will only wear shorts even though it has been the coldest, most rainy spring ever.
This dino.

This Elsa and pinky pop lover.

This girl with the cheesy smile and round little belly.

This hippo pushing, almost-walking(not really), nearly 14 month old.

This girl who is too big, way too fast.

I still remember the days I prayed for the things I have right now.
