The second half of the break we spent a lot of time with Grandma and Grandpa. Grady went in everyday for lunch with Grandma (since her PB and J is wayyyyyy better than anyone else's).
Ava is very attached to Grandma too, so she spent lots of time in and out of the pool with her too. Laine snuck in some Go Fish and a few hours with her as well.
After a girls walk and a boys golf morning, we ran into Grandpa in the lobby!
No one could help her eat the melting cone. "Ava's Ice Cream!!"
Grandma and Grandpa's flight was delayed so we had an unexpected yummy breakfast with them at Perk.

We took the shuttle to Starbucks with Grandma one morning while dad and Grandpa were golfing. We met Ash and the girls there and then went to play in the fountains.

Grady brought his football and wanted to play the whole time unaware there was a bagpiper. Laine covered her ears and said, "This is really hurting my ears? Do people like this? It sounds bad." Ava bounced up and down as if it was pop music.

Dinner the last night. Ava and I exited right as our food arrived. She was screaming her little heart out. She didn't nap for a few days since she was obsessed with swimming. At 6:00, she was done. I carried her fit throwing little body back to the room and tossed her in bed. She didn't say a peep. Kris brought me my food in a box:)
Grandma and Grandpa were delayed so we played some cards with them before heading to our gate.
Notice the pink sweatshirt on my bag. It is Grandma's jacket. She took it from her and would not give it back. She said it was her blanket and screamed her heart out when we tried to give it back. Grandma needed her sweatshirt due to the fact we were returning to Colorado where a blizzard happened a few days prior. Can you guess how this story ends? Ava got the sweatshirt. And Grandma was very cold upon landing in Denver. Hehe.

Why yes, that is us in first class with our 3 kids and business men. We didn't have seat assignments and no one was in a rush to give them to us. I was sure we'd be sleeping in the airport, but we ended up in first class for the first and last time I am sure. Laine took advantage of the drink offerings and had herself many glasses of cranberry and apple juice.
Lainey is a very patient big sister. Ava must've swiped her finger across Laine's show 28 times and she just patiently told her to please stop. Again and again.
If that doesn't signal a great vacation, I don't know what does.
