A few random shots for this post....
Grady had a great basketball season. He was one of the older kids on the team and actually understood what to do for the first time in his soccer/tball/basketball career. He knew to dribble and to pass and to shoot. It was so cute. He took on the position of the point guard and brought the ball down the court then would look to make sure he passed the ball to different kids all the time. Sometimes he would shoot too. He was the only kid (I'm pretty sure in the entire league) that kept score throughout every game. He shouted the score as he ran by the stands. He cheered on his team on the court and while on the bench. Adorable.
Mimi, Papa, Kris and the big kids went to see the Globetrotters at the Pepsi Center. They had a great time. Lainey loved the dancers more than the basketball.
Dad bought them headbands and wristbands.... pure awesomeness.
He came home and retold me the entire storyline of the entire game. He was the perfect age for the Globetrotters.
Clearly, he is very into basketball these days.
Carter had a great gymnastics 5th birthday party. The kids loved it!
Kris took a day off work to have a special Lainey day. They went to Q Doba for lunch and then to see Zootopia. She was in heaven.
Only Daddy would buy her a large popcorn and a strawberry soda. :)
Grady goes to Holly's dad to get his haircut. They talk sports the whole time. I love that the dad of my best friend of over 20 years knows my kiddo. Too cute. And he is so handsome when he gets home.
This girl.
A little naked drawing.
Shopping with mom.
Hanging at Lulu's with another 3rd baby. Discussing the fact they both are wearing all hand me downs from head to toe.
Sweet Cow.
He is becoming a little reader. We are on the second Harry Potter. He can make predictions, asks a gazillion questions, makes inferences and mind movies. It is so fun to get to read a book that is so full of things to talk about.
Easter came early at the DeCola house. The Easter Bunny knew we were getting home from Spring Break the day before Easter and thought it would be best to drop off the baskets before the trip so that he didn't forget to swing in after. Ha!
Cheese!!! Bubble gum at 6:30 AM.
Happy Easter!
