There couldn't be a more perfect location for a kid like Grady's birthday party. He has gone to the Home Depot Kids Workshop the first Saturday of the month since he was 2 and loves it. So, when patrolling Pinterest in my free time, I learned that Home Depot does FREE birthday parties, I was thrilled! They were so accommodating and bent over backwards for us the morning of the party. It was more than we could've asked for!
The party started at 10 so Kris and I were there at 8 to decorate and make sure things were all set up and ready to go. Hey, I mentioned they were super accommodating the day of, but until then, no one returned my calls or was around when we stopped in so I was unsure they even knew this party was happening. (though I did have a phone conversation with a girl 3 weeks prior).
The kids showed up and got right to work.
They built the craft that was leftover from the workshop the week before.
Bummer that G is a nearly Valentine's baby because the craft was a Valentines holder with a heart that they painted pink....
Good thing they are 3 and could care less.

After the work was done, we had donuts and milk. What a perfect treat to end the party!
So many great presents from our friends! They've provided hours, seriously HOURS of entertainment this past week.

The REAL birthday. A normal old Wednesday. Good thing he had his birthday crown Grandma made for him to wear. All day.
Good thing Grandma sent home some cupcakes for us to enjoy after lunch.
Good thing Grady and Hank had time to empty the entire contents of the 2nd level of our house into the pack-n-play including the ironing board they referred to as my 'surfboard'.
Good thing Grady had some work to do to repair his tri-cycle since that is his favorite hobby.
Good thing Buzz Lightyear joined Grady for swim lessons that night and helped him to be brave when he had to go in with a teacher and not daddy. Well, kind if brave. He only screamed for 15 minutes of the 25 minute class.
Good thing I remember he's only 3. Still my baby.
