Kris and I have been trying to enjoy the last few weeks of summer with the kids, but have been searching for things to do that both of them will like, plan around naps, and not spend a fortune on something that isn't that great. So, when Mackenzie mentioned the FREE fair, I looked it up online. It opened Wednesday at 10:00. We were there at 10:07.
It was perfect because there were no crowds. Grady got to hear the roster cock-a-doodle-doo!
The cows mooed right in our ears.
Happy little Laineybug watched the animals for a bit in the stroller, but then enjoyed most of the time in mama's arms while I pushed the stroller with no one in it. Seems to be the case very often!
Not too sure about the babies. Spots, the Giraffe, really enjoyed his trip to see the farm animals. (Being a zoo animal and all. It was a whole new experience for him. He shared it with the screw driver, tape measure, and goggles. They all went into the petting zoo with G as well. )

Of course we had to check out the John Deere and the red tractor.
Such a fun day at the fair. We all had a great time! The best part... $5.00 was all we spent. And the pony ride was well worth it. If Kris has his way, we will be back this weekend so Grady can ride the rides that weren't open at 10:00 on Wednesday.

YAY! Glad you guys went! We got our fair fill too :) LOVE IT :) Mostly love that a) you were there at 10:07 and b) you pushed an empty stroller...I've never felt more ridiculous! Keep soaking it up!
